THE NEW PHILADELPHIA POETS are a group of poets committed to expanding the spaces for poetry in Philadelphia in numerous ways. Formed in October 2007 by early members Marion Bell, Nic Darling, Brian Cuzzolina, Sarah Heady, Patrick Lucy & Debrah Morkun, The New Philadelphia Poets have performed as a collective in such places as The Bowery Poetry Club, The Philadelphia Magic Gardens, Elfreth's Alley & other sites of wonder.
